Potassium Nitrate--NOP is colorless crystal or white powder. It is easily soluble in the water,and the liquid ammonia but insoluble in anhydrous alcohol. It can not deliquesce in the air.As strong oxidizer,it will burn when mixing with organics.Potassium is a major plant nutrient and is an essential component of all living cells and metabolic processes.
•Potassium also helps plants utilise other nutrients more efficiently especially Nitrogen and Phosphorus.
Potassium is required by the plant for respiration and transport of photosynthesis products. It also plays a vital role in the activation of many enzymes.
•Potassium requirement is greatest at the end of the growing season and is important in improving crop quality,
fruit size, shape, colour, firmness and shelf life.
